Source removal & takedown policy
ANVLD is a Christian apologetics training tool. To help our users respond well to objections, our AI references a private corpus of apologetics writing, scripture, and worldview material that we have either authored, licensed, or lawfully obtained. The AI synthesizes arguments in its own words and quotes only brief, attributed excerpts; it does not redistribute source files and users cannot download originals through the product.
Good-faith use
We treat referenced works with respect. Our internal rules limit verbatim quotation to roughly one sentence per source per response, require attribution by author and title whenever a source is used, and encourage users to read the originals. ANVLD is intended to drive readers toward source authors, not to substitute for them.
Requesting removal
If you are an author, publisher, or rights holder and you would prefer that your work not appear in our corpus, we will remove it promptly on request. No legal threats are needed, and no justification is required. Please email team@anvld.com with:
- Title and author of the work you would like removed
- Your relationship to the work (author, publisher, agent, etc.)
- Optional: any contact info you would like on file
We aim to remove the material from active retrieval within 3 business days and to confirm by reply.
Permission & ministry-use licenses
If you are a publisher or ministry interested in a broader arrangement (a ministry-use license, joint promotion, or an opt-in for ANVLD to surface your catalog more prominently), we would love to hear from you. Email team@anvld.com.
What we will not do
- We do not redistribute or sell access to source files. The PDFs and articles in our corpus are not exposed through the product.
- We do not use the corpus to train or fine-tune underlying language models. We use it only for retrieval at query time.
- We do not bypass paywalls, defeat DRM, or scrape sites that disallow indexing via robots.txt or terms of service.
This page is not a legal contract; it is a description of our practices and a standing invitation for rights holders to reach out. Last updated 2026-05-12.
